Desist from all forms of political violence to promote peaceful participation - Zigwai

Political parties, Candidates and supporters have been called upon to desist from all forms of political violence to promote peaceful participation .

  Executive Director, Jesz Development Foundation , and implementer of the "Vote not fight campaign" Zigwai Ayuba stated this while speaking with newsmen in Kaduna .

   She said all political parties under the guidance of the National Peace Committee had signed up a peace accord in respect to the 2023 general elections and should adhere to it .

   Zigwai Ayuba noted that the recent PDP rally in Kaduna was marred by various forms of attacks which she said is condemnable as every political party in the country has the right to to campaign in any location of its choice . 

  Earlier, Jesz Development Foundation  called on National Emergency Management Agency -NEMA to do more at ensuring that  people affected by floods get some relief while calling on people living in flood-prone areas to relocate after early warning reports are made public .
